Doval held all-embracing talks with the core of the Saudi leadership, Musaed Al-Aiban, His counterpart and Saudi National Security Advisor, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, The Saudi Minister of Energy, and Prince Faisal bin Farhan, The Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The visit was just before Pakistan mediation with Iran failed, which eventually can escalate war. If the war really escalates, the supply chain to India should be protected.  After Doval’s Riyadh visit, he held meeting on April 17 with Rustem Umerov, the Secretary of Ukraine’s National Security Council, and who probed the possibilities of India’s role as a mediator and strategic navigator across multiple global conflict zones.

Doval said all the meetings were productive and result oriented, India will continue sourcing oil and energy from Gulf without any interruption.
