At the time of global oil and energy crisis, UAE coming out of OPEC enhances the hyper-business between UAE AND India. The high-profile state visit marks a crucial diplomatic milestone, with New Delhi and Abu Dhabi set to formalize major energy security and infrastructure pacts. As the Prime Minister’s special aircraft entered UAE airspace, a formation of UAE Air Force F-16 fighter jets bordered the plane on both sides.

The fighter pilots continued a precise, close-proximity formation, escorting the Indian delegation safely until touchdown at the Presidential Airport in Abu Dhabi. Upon landing, PM Modi was conferred a ceremonial guard of honour and personally received by senior UAE leadership, underlying the deep defence and geopolitical inter-dependency between the two nations.

The essential focus of the bilateral delegation meetings rotates around securing India's long-term energy transition and storage capabilities. Two landmark pacts are set to be signed up. India and the UAE are finalizing a long-term, high-volume agreement to ensure a consistent, stable supply of LPG to meet India’s domestic energy demands and expansion goals. Apart from the main two pacts, hydrocarbons and energy security, the high-level meetings are scheduled to assess progress on economic cooperation frameworks, including cross-border digital payment systems, direct maritime trade corridors, and joint defence manufacturing opportunities.
