On My, 22nd, a private hospital doctor in Lucknow was detained after a female student accused him of sedating and raping her during treatment.
The victim is a student, was admitted to a private hospital in Lucknow on health issues.
According to the police complaint, during her treatment, the doctor called her alone into the operation theatre. He instructed the hospital’s female staff and the victim’s father to step outside, leaving him alone with the patient.
The victim accused that once they were alone, the doctor administered an intoxicating/sedative injection under the guise of treatment, which severely compromised her consciousness.
