After landing in Tehran, Munir was received by Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni. Pakistan’s Interior Minister, Mohsin Naqvi, was also present at the airport, having already spent days in Tehran holding unannounced, back-to-back rounds of talks with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
That’s Munir's second visit to Tehran within 40 days, emphasizing the urgency and seriousness of Pakistan’s role as the primary intermediary.
