Lokayukta Raid and Extortion Case: Accused Ningappa Sawant Missing

In connection with the case involving alleged extortion of money under the threat of a Lokayukta police raid, IPS officer Srinath Joshi had filed a petition in the High Court challenging the investigation notice issued against him. Meanwhile, accused Ningappa Sawant has gone missing and has not appeared before the Lokayukta police for investigation.
