Coastal and southern interior Karnataka are witnessing continuous heavy rains, leading to school and college closures in several regions. The weather department has urged children, elderly, and vulnerable citizens to remain indoors due to safety concerns. Meanwhile, many other districts are under orange and yellow alerts as rain continues to disrupt daily life.
