Human remains, including a skull and remnants of three to eight bodies, have been discovered in the forest area of Banglegudde near the Netravati bathing ghat in Dharmasthala. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) is gearing up to conduct an extensive search operation in collaboration with the forest department.

The SIT, investigating the incidents in Dharmasthala, is now preparing to conduct a large-scale search operation in the forest area near the Netravati bathing ghat. A skull handed over to the police by a witness was recovered from the Banglegudde forest near the Netravati bathing ghat in Dharmasthala. The SIT recently brought Vithala Gowda from Pangala village in Dharmasthala to the site and conducted a spot inspection (mahazar). After the inspection, a video of Vithala Gowda speaking went viral on social media. In the video, he stated, "During the mahazar at the site where the skull was found, remains of three bodies were observed in one part of the forest, and remains related to eight bodies were found in another area. According to information provided by SIT sources to Prajavani, there is a need to conduct a more intensive search in the forest area where the skull was recovered.
