Karnataka Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao has been issued a notice by the Lokayukta in connection with the disproportionate assets case against Housing Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan. According to a report by Lokayukta DySP Satish Kumar, the notice directs Gundu Rao to appear for questioning with relevant documents. Gundu Rao has reportedly requested more time to appear for the probe, stating that he needs to compile the necessary records. This investigation is part of a broader inquiry into Zameer Ahmed's assets. Previously, actress Radhika Kumaraswamy and politician KGF Babu were also questioned over allegations of multi-crore financial transactions with the two ministers.

It is speculated that Gundu Rao’s statement and information could provide a new turn to the case, especially after Zameer Ahmed has reportedly answered the authorities' questions and defended his position.
