Bagalagunte police have arrested Venaram, the prime accused in the murder of Nemaram, a cloth shop owner in Siddedahalli, Bagalagunte. Venaram, driven by business rivalry, allegedly paid ₹5 lakh as a supari (contract) to have Nemaram killed.

Venaram, driven by business rivalry, allegedly paid ₹5 lakh as a supari (contract) to have Nemaram killed. The police are currently searching for Vinod Jaat, the accused who accepted the supari. Venaram, who owned High Fashion cloth shop next door, spread false rumors that Nemaram’s clothes were of poor quality, leading to friction between the two. This business rivalry fueled tensions.Additionally, Nemaram had hired a boy who previously worked at Venaram’s shop, which further enraged Venaram. In retaliation, Venaram paid ₹5 lakh to Vinod Jaat from Rajasthan to orchestrate Nemaram’s murder. He was arrested on Saturday night, and details of the contract killing were revealed during his interrogation. Police teams have been dispatched to Rajasthan to apprehend Vinod Jaat, who accepted the supari.Police Inspector Rajesh Kumar stated, “This murder stemmed from a business rivalry, with Venaram playing a key role.
