This move is seen as the high command sending a stern message against leaders who issue statements that trouble the government.Earlier, Kage's remarks had caused significant embarrassment to the state government.

Echoing Patil, Kage stated that he was facing a similar situation.Expressing his dissatisfaction, Kage had said, "The government released a special grant of ₹25 crore for me. Out of this, ₹13 crore was allocated for 72 community halls and ₹12 crore for road construction. But even after two years, no work has begun. It pains me that work orders haven't been issued.
