The incident occurred in Azad Nagar, Shivamogga, and the woman who was at home was attacked by the two culprits and has been admitted to a hospital. The couple, who attempted the robbery, was caught by locals and handed over to the police.The assault took place at the residence of a woman named Dil Shad in the second lane of Azad Nagar, Clark’s Pet, Shivamogga. Taking advantage of the absence of any men in the house, the couple entered under the pretext of conducting a caste census and began questioning Dil Shad. Taslima asked Dil Shad to show her Aadhaar card, and as Dil Shad went inside to retrieve it, the couple attacked her. They struck her head with a rod.As the blows landed, Dil Shad fainted on the spot. Hearing her screams, neighbors rushed to her rescue. The locals caught her and handed her over to the police. Upon checking the bags she was carrying, the police found several deadly weapons. Dil Shad, who was lying in a pool of blood, was admitted to Sahara Hospital in Shivamogga city.Dil Shad sustained severe injuries to her head, and doctors are treating her.
