Several homes have been destroyed, roads damaged, and connectivity to remote villages severed, according to official reports. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) is actively engaged in rescue efforts, particularly in severely affected areas like Mirik Lake.

Fatalities and injuries have been reported from areas including Sarsali, Justirgaon, Mirik Basti, Dhar Gaon (Mechi), and Mirik Lake. In Dhar Gaon, massive soil erosion has completely flattened several homes.
