A report indicates that U.S. student visas issued to Indian students dropped by 44% in August 2025, the steepest decline among all nations, driven by President Donald Trump’s stringent immigration policies, which have altered global student mobility patterns.

According to data released on Monday, the U.S. issued approximately one-fifth fewer student visas in August 2025 compared to the previous year, attributed to Trump’s tough immigration measures. Hisense 164 cm (65 inches) E7Q Series 4K Ultra HD Smart QLED TV 65E7Q (Black)
