The Karnataka Government, through a unique and groundbreaking program, has sent four high-achieving students from Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions Society (KREIS) schools, who excelled in their SSLC examinations, on a week-long educational tour to the United Kingdom. These students visited prestigious institutions such as the London School of Economics, Oxford University, and the Ambedkar House Museum, retracing the educational journey of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.

These students were selected based on their outstanding performance in the SSLC exams. Accompanying them were Roopa G.N., Principal of Kittur Rani Channamma Residential School in Tumakuru district, and Nagaraj Poojar from the Ambedkar Development Corporation.
