Bengaluru: The Central Crime Branch (CCB) Cyber Police have submitted a 380-page chargesheet against 11 fans of actor Darshan in connection with a case involving obscene and derogatory comments posted against actress Ramya on social media.

The incident stemmed from a tweet by Ramya during a period when Karnataka Police had approached the Supreme Court to cancel Darshan’s bail. Angered by her tweet, Darshan’s fans posted objectionable and defamatory comments against her on social media platforms and even launched an online campaign targeting her.

Six additional accused individuals remain at large, and a supplementary chargesheet may be filed once they are apprehended. Four of the accused are yet to receive bail.
