K.K. Muhammad, former Regional Director of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), stated that the Muslim community should hand over two historical sites in addition to Ram Janmabhoomi (Ayodhya) to Hindus.

KOZHIKODE, KERALA: K.K. Muhammad, former Regional Director of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), stated that the Muslim community should hand over two historical sites in addition to Ram Janmabhoomi (Ayodhya) to Hindus.

He suggested these be: Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna, and Gyanvapi (Varanasi), which is associated with Lord Shiva.rytras Women's Cotton Kurta with Palazzo Pant and Dupatta Set

He further stressed that these places are as sacred to Hindus as Mecca and Medina are to Muslims. He is of the opinion that these two sites should be handed over to allow Hindus to construct magnificent temples.

The Role of the Hindu Majority in Secularism:

He opined that if India were a Muslim-majority country, it would never have been secular. He urged Muslims to realize this truth and show certain gestures for the sake of harmony.

On the Role of Communist Historians:

Responsibility of Both Communities:

He stated that the Hindu and Muslim leadership must arrive at an agreement to amicably settle the issue.
