However, the chaos in bus operations over the past few months has pushed students into severe distress. Objectives of the Protest:

Lack of Punctuality: Buses not arriving on scheduled time, causing students to reach college late.

Inadequate Services: No bus arrangements proportional to the number of students, leading to extreme overcrowding.

Sudden Cancellations: Abrupt cancellation of bus services without prior notice, disrupting students' academic schedules.

Leaders' Outrage and Warning:

Addressing the protest, Muliya Sathwik, President of the ABVP-supported All College Student Union, launched a strong attack against the negligence of the KSRTC department. Despite repeated submissions of appeals, authorities offer lame excuses but have taken no firm action. ABVP always fights for students' rights and will not rest until a permanent solution is found, he declared.

City Secretary Punith H spoke, urging students to raise their voices in a disciplined and united manner. We are demanding our rights through democratic means. Demands of the Protest:

Deployment of additional buses for students during college hours.

Strict adherence to timings in bus operations.

Continuous transportation facilities without inconvenience to rural students.

Respectful treatment and priority for those holding student passes.

ABVP warned that if the KSRTC department does not immediately act to resolve the issues, protests will be intensified across the taluk in the coming days, including bus blockades.
