To further simplify India's largest democratic festival the election process and eliminate errors from the voter list, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has taken a revolutionary step.

What is the 'Book a Call' Service?
Previously, voters had to track down their Booth Level Officer (BLO) in person for tasks like adding a name to the voter list, making corrections, or updating address changes.

The initiative aims to bridge the gap between voters and the election machinery, making services more accessible and hassle-free.
How to Use the Service:
Visit the official ECI website: Go to http://voters.eci.gov.in (Voters' Services Portal) or download the ECINET mobile app.

Select the option: Choose 'Book a Call with BLO' (or similar) from the portal.
Submit details: Enter your EPIC number, reference number, or polling station details (state, district, assembly constituency, booth), fill in your query, and request a call.
Get Reference ID: Upon submission, you'll receive a Reference ID via SMS on your mobile.

This campaign is part of preparatory activities for SIR 2025 (Special Intensive Revision 2025) and ongoing electoral roll clean-up efforts.
