BENGALURU: The Govindapura police have cracked a major burglary case within a record 12 hours, arresting a young man and his father for looting an electronics store.
The duo was apprehended for stealing high-value internal components from hundreds of laptops following a salary dispute between the employee and the store owner.
The Motive: A Salary Dispute Turned Into Revenge:
The primary accused, Hemanth, had been working at Nitish’s electronics shop. Determined to "teach the owner a lesson," Hemanth hatched a plan to rob the store and involved his father, Manjunath—a local grocery store owner—in the criminal plot.

By focusing only on these high-value, easy-to-carry components, they made off with hardware valued at approximately ₹80 lakh.
