It all started with Perambur campaign dispute from 27th to 30th of March. The latest rift is because of the denial of permission for Vijay’s election rally in Perambur. Vijay’s allegations on DMK are, the ruling party has deliberately damaged roads, dug pits and placed barricades in Mullai Nagar where his rally was arranged.
DMK intentionally made the venue unsuitable for his rally and speech. The actor also added that the DMK is playing its Fascist tactics to ruin his rallies.
The Chennai Corporation has denied Vijay’s allegation, as it was done for Metro water repairs. Initially the police even rejected Vijay’s claim as the venue would be too congested for the expected 3,000 people.
