The controversial vision of expanding Israel from the Nile River to the Euphrates, rooted in biblical promises and fueling regional fears amid ongoing conflicts in Gaza, the West Bank, and southern Lebanon.

Lebanon: Graeter Israel Project is a geopolitical and Jewish ideology which has a puritan outlook on Israel boundaries. When Israel is bashing Hezbollah in Lennon, the term is gaining a momentum, Gulf is wondering if Israel is heading towards the greater Israel project.

The Biblical foundation

The interpretations of Hebrew Bible, mentions of the “promised Land” to Jews and specify Jewish boundaries. The Jewish boundaries are from Nile River to Euphrates River in Iraq and Syria.

The modern Zionists of the contemporary describe this as greater Israel that’s inclusive of entire territory, encompassing all present-day Israel, the West bank and Gaza.

Now present situation is making Gulf society to think the project is a reality, especially, Lebanon. Hezbollah’s main base is Lebanon. The Battle for Bengal: Murshidabad at a Breaking Point

After neutralising of Hamas and Hezbollah, Israel has established the security corridors deep in to the Sothern Lebanon and the region of Sinai. Some critics call it, de facto annexation by Israel.

Despite international outcry, the current Israeli administration has accelerated infrastructure projects in the West Bank, effectively integrating it into the Israeli civil and economic grid. Even nations that signed the Abraham Accords have expressed "extreme concern" that the pursuit of Greater Israel would permanently end the possibility of a Palestinian state and destabilize the entire Middle East region.

 

Point of concern to all of Gulf countries, Israel and to human community as such.
