Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu: A major fire broke out near Tiruvallur railway station on a train headed towards Tirupati. The fire originated in four coaches of a diesel-carrying goods train, causing panic in the surrounding areas. Thankfully, no casualties have been reported.
The incident led to the evacuation of nearby areas as a precautionary measure. Passengers on the train were safely rescued, and emergency services acted swiftly.
Fire and rescue teams rushed to the scene, battling intense flames made worse by the presence of diesel. Despite the challenging conditions, the teams successfully brought the fire under control.
According to Police Superintendent E. Srinivas Perumal, "The fire was intense due to diesel, but there were no injuries or fatalities. The operation was a success under extreme pressure." The authorities have now taken full control of the situation, and train services are being monitored to prevent further risk.
