Belagavi: A major twist has emerged in the case where pesticide was allegedly poured into the drinking water tank of the government primary school in Hoolikatti, Savadatti taluk, Belagavi district, which was reported just a day ago. The police have already arrested three accused in connection with this incident.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Sagar Patil, Nagan Gowda Patil, and Krishna Madar.

Speaking to reporters about the case, District Police Superintendent Dr. Bheemashankar Guled revealed that the investigation has uncovered that Sagar Patil, who was associated with the Shri Ram organization, along with others, intended to get the transfer of Suleman Gorinayak, who has been serving as the headmaster of the government school for 13 years, and aimed to tarnish his reputation.
