A yellow alert has been issued for Belagavi, Bidar, Kalaburagi, Koppal, Raichur, Vijayapura, Vijayanagara, Yadgir, Chikkaballapura, Chitradurga, Davanagere, Kolar, and Mysuru, while an orange alert is in place for Davanagere.

The cyclone is likely to bring heavy rainfall with wind speeds of 40-50 kmph to Karnataka’s coastal districts, indirectly affecting the region as it nears the coasts of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. Coastal areas like Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, and Udupi face risks of flooding, traffic disruptions, and agricultural damage.
