Tumakuru, September 20: A horrific incident occurred in Kadapanakere, Pavagada Taluk, Tumakuru district. Saritha, a 23-year-old homemaker, allegedly killed her two children, 4-year-old Kaushik and 2-year-old Yukti, before taking her own life by hanging.

The incident took place around 4 PM when no one else was at home. Saritha was married to Santosh, an autorickshaw driver, six years ago. At the time of the incident, no family members were present. Allegations have surfaced that Saritha faced dowry harassment from Santosh and his family. It is suspected that this harassment may have driven her to kill her children and commit suicide. Pavagada police have visited the scene and are conducting an investigation to determine the exact cause of the tragedy.
