Speaking at a press conference in Kalaburagi on September 30, 2025, Vijayendra criticized the state government’s delayed response, pointing out that farmers are looking to the government for support, yet ministers, including those for agriculture, revenue, and district in-charge, remain in air-conditioned offices in Bengaluru, only recently beginning to discuss the crisis.MILLION CASES Back Cover Case for OnePlus 11R Shockproof Protective Classic Pattern Leather Case for Men & Boys(Black)
Vijayendra questioned the utility of elected representatives if their efforts are limited to aerial surveys, which officials could conduct. He dismissed the state government’s approach of visiting Kalaburagi, holding meetings, and then writing to the central government for relief as inadequate.
“Providing financial aid to farmers is crucial, but equally important is meeting them, offering reassurance, and providing emotional support,” he emphasized. He urged the Chief Minister to direct ministers to stay in the affected areas for a month, barring them from returning to Bengaluru, and focus on delivering relief to distressed farmers.Mysuru Dasara: Spectacular Display of 2,983 Drones… Tiger Artwork Sets Guinness World Record!
