Floodwaters have submerged thousands of acres of agricultural land in low-lying areas, destroying key crops such as cotton, jowar (sorghum), and pigeon pea. Stagnant water still covers large portions of farmland, causing the remaining crops to rot and spread a foul smell across the region. Many farmers fear that cultivation will not be possible until the land completely dries, adding to their despair.

Several families displaced by the flood have taken shelter in temporary relief camps, where they are now facing shortages of food, clean drinking water, and basic medical supplies.
