As the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 draw nearer, political parties are taking stringent measures to maintain internal discipline and unity.

As the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 draw nearer, political parties are taking stringent measures to maintain internal discipline and unity. In this context, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has expelled four leaders from the party for six years over their involvement in anti-party activities.

The expelled leaders are: Varun Singh from Bahadurganj constituency, Anoop Kumar Srivastava from Gopalganj, Pawan Yadav (former MLA) from Kahalgaon, and Surya Bhan Singh from Barhara.

These leaders disregarded the party's constitutional guidelines and attempted to create confusion in the electoral atmosphere.

Their actions are against the party's interests and are considered indiscipline and anti-party behavior, reads the party's statement. The 2025 Bihar Assembly Elections are heating up. Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) has been allocated 29 seats, while Hindustani Awam Morcha and Rashtriya Lok Morcha will each contest 6 seats.

Additionally, former minister Shailesh Kumar, MLA Gopal Mandal, former MLA Shyam Bahadur Singh, and Sudarshan Kumar are among those affected.
